There must be few shops that actually send their customers away before they make a purchase, but we believe in letting a spray linger on one’s wrist for perhaps 45 minutes to find out whether the fragrance actually suits a customer’s skin. In that time the top and middle notes of the scent will give way to the important bottom note, and the wearer will find out whether it is for him or her. And just because the customer has been wearing a favourite scent for 30 years, which does not necessarily mean it will still be right - as hormones and diet change, so does the way a scent will suit.
